Join Lauren in the studio for an open level exploration of Middle Eastern Dance, Movement, and Percussion.
We will begin each class with a comprehensive warm-up to prepare our bodies and minds for dance. Participants will learn, review and develop bellydance technique and Arabic rhythms on frame drum. Each class will also include choreography combinations.
Bonus: Class participants are welcome to stay for the second-hour percussion and choreography development rehearsal for free!
Proceeds from this class go towards Jillina’s BDEmpower program – providing bellydance classes for at-risk young women in Los Angeles as well as scholarships for aspiring dancers around the world.
